You are also a wonderful teacher and the students really appreciated your expertise and all of the efforts you made so they could truly understand your subject (and they did!) --> They loved the labs and I did too! I really think that you've inspired many students to study science in the future; so many commented that "Melissa is so young, and she is so smart and knows so much." I think it's great that they found such an awesome role model. I learned so much from you myself and I will definitely pass on what I've learned to my students. Thanks so much!"
Awwww... that is so sweet of her. She seems to alway know what to say and how to say it. I need to work on that skill...
Today he was sitting alone with his ipod shoved in his ears. As usual, I approach him and start asking questions which really must annoy the crap out of him. After a couple minutes of music and cosmos talk I leave him alone but not for long. Minutes later still, there he sat, alone. I approach again because I just couldn't help myself. He is the kid constantly criticized by peers and instructors alike. High energy and difficulty concentrating but not a bad kid. I've met bad kids and he is not that. At least he listens and is respectful when someone shows authority.
She lives in Los Angeles but has never been to the beach. ???? How does that happen? I hope when she gets home she takes her family and tells them that this is a sea anemone and that is a gooseneck barnacle.
Some of them seem like they are always having fun... I am happy they enjoyed the course.
I will miss them.
