I like that I am from South Dakota and that I feel a connection to other South Dakotans. While I was away, a visitor came to the lab looking for me because he heard I was from North or South Dakota. Now, I am only speculating here, but he must have some connection there and wanted to meet.

South Dakotans, they're everywhere. The state population isn't low because they are not procreating. They are just feeding the rest of the country their people.

When Jonathan and I were ordering drinks at Detroit bar the other night I told him that it was so cheap to drink in South Dakota. The bartender over heard our conversation and asked if I was from there. When I said yes, he said he was from there too but from the other side. We talked SD for a bit and went on our ways. When we ordered the same two drinks an hour later from a different bartender the cost was three dollars more. J: "What did we get the South Dakota discount?"

And now, I am going to stop talking about South Dakota because if I am tired of saying it, you must be tired of hearing about it.
