we talked about hanging up on people and how if he ever hangs up on her then that is just like saying they just broke up. I asked her if I hung up on her would it mean we are no longer friends? She said no but would be awaiting the apology. It was strictly hypothetical of course because why would I ever hang up on her or any other friend? That would be preposterous! Yet, just hours later I hung up on Catherine. Well, I said goodbye several times to let her know that I would be hanging up... but still. [shame]
and no, I'm not done with my fucking paper. Stop. asking.
