the dmv

I am now a legal driver and all I had to do was pay, thumb print, photo and vision test. It will be in the mail! Never had to take the test but by golly I know that you have to follow at least 300 feet behind an emergency vehicle with lights and sirens and it is illegal to intentionally frightening animals in trailers and you can only merge into the bike lane to turn right 200 feet before your turn and you better not speed up to cut off bikers and it is legal to share a lane with a motorcycle but it is not safe so you should use extreme caution and if you are parking uphill next to a curb, you should turn your wheel towards traffic and let your car roll back until the back of the front wheels hit the curb and then set the parking brake [not intuitive, I think] and if you see a blind person at a crosswalk you should stop right at the crosswalk so they can hear that you stopped and can listen to other traffic and if they put their cane away it is clear they do not want to cross so you can go ahead and if you are crossing a railroad track and you can not see more than 400 feet in either direction to check for a train then the speed limit is 15mph and you can never ever under any circumstances do a U-turn in front of a fire station or turn your car around in their parking lot. I am serious traffic nerd now...
