celebrating the moon

Sarah and Christy recently arrived back from Hong Kong, China and Japan so they held a celebration at their place that occurs in China on Septembers full moon night. Tonight was that, except we were not in China. We saw tons of pictures, first from Hong Kong and then China. After China the moon cake was served with an asian pear and green tea. I heard the moon cake was quite tastey and I took their word for it. We were meant to be on the roof under the full moon but Christy was worried someone would get hurt and we did not actually see the moon at that point. Next were the Japan pictures and Amanda was very excited... it was sort of like foreshadowing for her as she is scheduled to visit in 6 weeks!! We left with a robot, heard a dog howling, saw the moon and then I got a ride in Jonathan's car - top down. I am pretty sure that was the first time I have ever been in a convertible. I can see why it is considered a chick magnent. Lily is all riled up... do you think it is the moon?
