It has been decided by some unknown person on some committee I know nothing about that my financial need has been determined to be $600/month less than what I made last year. So does that mean I was grossly overpaid the last four years? Does it mean I ate too much and bought too many clothes and should not have been able to travel or visit the cinema or climb or buy gifts for my friends and family? I admit I am feeling poor and being poor scares me a little but it turns out I am in the top 12.5% of the richest people in the entire world. For that I feel lucky to be where I am today. It is not my hard work, mental or physical abilities, perseverance, self-worth. It is nothing more than luck. This is where I was born.
