I am not sure when was the last time I saw a two week old person for long enough to watch it. The dad was so cute, always asking if he could take her as soon as breast-feeding was complete. You could tell they act like four year olds trying to politely share a toy.
Dad: Do you want me to take her?
Mom: No, it's okay.
Me: Do you two fight over her?
Dad: Well, she gets to hold her most of the time. I am really good about consciously sharing her with her grandfather during my time to hold her.
Mom: [handing the baby over.] Fine!
It was the most precious thing. I loved the way they were learning her patterns and referring to her as an animal and how he does not like other babies. It was definitely the product of a scientist.
