rocks with ropes

My first day and already I have climbed with a stranger named John because the one that was supposed to be my buddy did not want me. John made me climb three at a time each round so I was spent after just one hour. He did not shout at me to get my feet up and go on about how great I was doing and how I owned that route. For that, I was fine. At the end I did one lead climb just to shut them up and I was glad they made me. He was right when he said it would not be so bad. Strangers and leading. I could not be more proud of me.

Friday 5:30. See you there. With chalk on. Bring on the strangers.

I cannot wait until I stop being so angry.
