milk

I know that millions of others are doing it and every child-bearing mammal on the planet does it like it is no big deal, but for some reason the thought of breast-feeding really makes me anxious. I don't get it because I doubt a cow or a lamb or a cat had any reservations about letting their infant suck on their boobs - the kids pop out and just start sucking. Like it is suddenly not a big deal that they've suddenly transformed into a little food factory. Will I develop this same instinct?

I'll definitely do it, I know it is the healthiest for both of us (and the cheapest) but I think I am going to have to start watching videos showing the deed so I get used to the idea. I had a dream that the kid came and I really wasn't prepared and had no idea what to do. It wasn't a very successful experience. Luckily I have several months to get ready for this.

You will be great. And you have months to prepare! I guess the baby won't be vegan for awhile! :) I still remember you grossing me out with your descriptions of milk... secretions of blood and puss. I still put cream in my coffee, but only soy milk on everything else.
