Could I stop being such a big nerd? This morning we had a staff meeting and were sent the agenda the afternoon before. I opened the directions and read them. Opened the excel document and learned I was a group leader. Then I just followed directions! The email stated that we should quickly get into our groups and get started because it was going to take a long time to complete our task. As soon as I arrived in the gym, I skipped the breakfast table and immediately headed toward the corner of the gym that said "Group 1". All the other teachers slowly came in and sat in the bleachers or stood around and chatted. Luckily I was only standing alone in "Group 1" for about five minutes before I was spotted by an art teacher who came to talk to chat. About 20 minutes later the AP finally decided to tell us to get into groups and get started. Seriously?! 20 minutes later? I took notes as we traveled to different stations and we had good discussions. Then later, my department made fun of me for being such an amazing group leader and taking it so serious.
Why am I being laid off again?
